Thanksgiving special: Shah Rukh-Alia starrer Dear Zindagi to release in US-Canada 2 days before India

Here is good news for Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt fans in the US-Canada. Khan-Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi will be released there two days before its India release.

Bollywood films first make it to the big screen at the UAE box office, followed by Indian box office and then international markets. However, in a unique move, Gauri Shinde's directorial will first release at the US-Canada box office, followed by a UAE release and then India release.

Dear Zindagi will now release at the US-Canada box office during the Thanksgiving weekend, i.e. on November 23 (Wednesday), November 24 at the UAE box office and on Friday, i.e. on November 25 in India.

The film revolves around a budding cinematographer Kaira who meets Jehangir Khan or Jug (played by Khan). Jug helps Kaira to gain a new perspective about love and life. The film, which is produced under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and Hope Productions, features an ensemble cast.

Bhatt will be seen romancing Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi in the movie, while Khan is rumoured to be playing the role of a psychiatrist.

"Alia dates all these men with contrasting personalities, whose perspectives on life eventually reflect in the film she is making. It'll be interesting to find out who she ends up with finally," a source from the sets told Mumbai Mirror.

Talking about the promo of the film, the makers have decided to release teasers of the film. Until now, the makers have released three teasers starring Khan and Bhatt. The first two teasers featured only Khan and Bhatt and the third promo gives a glimpse of Kunal and Bedi.
