A song clip and footage from what appears to be part of the teaser in Thalapathy Vijay's movie Sarkar have been leaked online. Blame it on the technology or the carelessness of the makers, a 45-second clip has made it to the internet.
Apart from the teaser and song, video clips of other songs and photos captured in the US are doing the rounds. It is suspected that people associated with the team from the foreign country are involved in the leak.
The makers are yet to give a clarification on the issue.
However, the Sarkar film unit has returned from the US after finishing the song shoots. Thalapathy Vijay headed straight to the Anna Memorial on reaching Chennai to pay homage to M Karunanidhi, who passed away last week.
With the US schedule wrapped up, the makers are now looking forward to complete the remaining portion which is expected to be filmed in Chennai.
The movie had hit the floors in January after three months of pro-production work. The filming was delayed following a 48-day Kollywood strike. Yet the makers have said that they will stick to their original plan of releasing the movie on Diwali 2018. So far, things are shaping up without much delay.
Sarkar marks the third union of Vijay and AR Murugadoss after their blockbusters - Thuppakki and Kaththi. Keerthy Suresh is the female lead in the flick, which has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the female lead.
Vietnamese actor and stuntman Johnny Tri Nguyen of 7Aum Arivu fame is returning to Kollywood in a negative role.
