Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu had recently played the role of Chief Minister in Telugu film Bharat Ane Nenu. Now, it is the turn of Thalapathy Vijay to enact the same role in his upcoming Tamil flick Sarkar. Sarkar working stills.
Going by the buzz, Vijay, like an NRI turning Chief Minister in Bharat Ane Nenu, will be seen in the aforementioned character in Sarkar. While the Telugu superstar had a calm and composed persona, Thalapathy's role is believed to be of a smart and astute man with a little bit of aggression.
The essence of both the characters is said to be the same as they want to serve the public and do good for the society.
Sarkar shooting update
Meanwhile, the shooting of Sarkar has been wrapped in the US. On the other hand, the team has now announced that the audio of Sarkar will be out on 2 October. The makers are planning a grand event to unveil the songs.
Prior to the audio release, a single is expected to be out on 19 September.
AR Murugadoss-directorial Sarkar has Keerthy Suresh in the female lead with Varalaxmi enacting an important role.
