Thalapathy Vijay's third movie with Atlee Kumar looks like will be slightly different from their previous projects. Although the latest film is going to be a mass-masala film, it is expected to be a flick which is expected to motivate people to consider sports as a serious profession.
Going by the rumours, Vijay will be turning a sportsman in the film, which is presently referred to as Thalapathy 63. The actor will be reportedly seen in the role of a footballer and the actor is believed to have started preparing for the role.
If the rumours have to be believed, the movie will deal with the corruption in the football association and issues faced by the footballers.
In Atlee's previous movies, Vijay was seen as a cop, who avenges his wife's death, in Theri and was enacted triple roles – a rural hero, magician and doctor – in Mersal. His roles had won a lot of appreciation.
Vijay performed the role of sportsman in a few movies that include Badri (boxer) and Ghilli (kabbadi player).
Thalapathy 63 is produced by AGS Entertainer. Nayanthara is reportedly reuniting with Vijay after a decade. The film will have GK Vishnu's cinematography, Ruben's editing and AR Rahman's music.
