Shamili, better known as Baby Shamili or Malootty, who had won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for her amazing performance in Mani Ratnam's "Anjali" in 1990, is reportedly set to make her comeback to the entertainment industry.
Shamili, who hails from a family of actors, including sister Shalini, brother Rishi, and brother-in-law Ajith Kumar, expressed her desire to act opposite Thala in future.
"Ajith is my brother and I am big fan of Thala. I always try to watch his films on the first day itself. He is the best human being I have ever seen inside and outside films. My sister Shalini is very lucky to have him as her husband. Acting opposite him is one of my biggest dreams." she said, according to Marunadan Malayali.
Shamili, who has also acted in all South Indian languages, is known for her characters in "Anjali", "Malootty", "Nirnayam", and "Harikrishnans".
She made her acting debut as a lead actress opposite Siddharth in 2009 Telugu drama film "Oye!", for which she won CineMAA Award for Best Female Debut.
Shamili completed her M.Com course in Singapore and is currently pursuing a course in Film Marketing at the same university.
