Ajith Kumar's next movie, which is currently being referred to as "Thala 57," has been delayed and it is now reportedly expected to take off in June 2016.
The news was revealed by PR Riaz K Ahmed on Twitter. He wrote, "#Ajith Siva third movie to go on floors from June directed by Siva & Produced by Thyagarajan."
Earlier, it was reported that the Kollywood movie would hit the floors April 14 on the occasion of Tamil New Year and the regular shooting of the flick would commence a month later, possibly on Ajith's birthday (May 1).
Ajith has also started preparing for "Thala 57." He has begun working out at the gym to get in the shape fo rthe role. The actor had undergone multiple surgeries in November 2015 and had been in the rest.
Before starting his next movie, Ajith is expected to go to London with his family on a holiday. The audience will get more clarity on his next project once he returns to Chennai.
The upcoming movie is written and directed by Siruthai Siva, who directed Ajith twice before in "Veeram" and "Vedalam." He is busy with the pre-production works of "Thala 57" and has roped in Anirudh Ravichander to score the music.
"Thala 57" is being produced by reputed Sathya Jyothi Films. The production house has been in the industry for the past three decades and made both critically-acclaimed and commercially successful flicks.
Kamal Haasan and Sridevi starrer "Moonram Pirai" was its first film way back in 1983. Some of the notable hits include "Uthama Puthiran" and "Kalyana Parisu."
