Ajith Kumar and Anushka Shetty are ready for the first schedule of shooting of their forthcoming movie, which is presently referred to as "Thala 57." The filming will commence in July as per the reports.
Director Siruthai Siva, cinematographer Vetri along with stunt master Silva and art director, among a few others, left to Bulgaria recently, reports Behindwoods. They are finalising the locations for the shooting. The buzz is that the makers have plans to shoot the portions involving Ajith and Anushka Shetty in the first schedule.
Some uncofirmed reports claim that between every schedule there will be a gap of one month as Ajith needs to take rest. The actor underwent multiple surgeries last November. It appears like the team is cautious about the actor's health and unwilling to put pressure on him.
It is believed that there might be short schedules to give enough time for Ajith to take rest and during the break the crew is expected to complete editing and other technical works.
It may be recalled that the doctors who treated Ajith had advised the actor to take bed rest for at least three months. As a result, the latest project was scheduled to start in mid 2016.
Meanwhile, the hunt for the protagonist is on and the names of Arvind Swamy and Sasikumar are doing the rounds. Earlier, there were speculations that Vijay Sethupathi would do the role of a baddie in the film. But nothing has been confirmed yet.
"Thala 57" is written and directed by Siruthai Siva, who is teaming up with Ajith for the third time after "Veeram" and "Vedalam." Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the flick, which is expected to release in April 2017.
Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music.
