The unit of Ajith's next movie is ready for the first schedule of the shooting, which will begin next week. The makers are said to have planned a long schedule in Bulgaria, which will last for 40 days.
Director Siruthai Siva scouted exotic spots to decide on the shooting locations of the important portions of the spy-thriller, which is currently being referred to as "Thala 57."
The "Thala 57" unit will be returning to India in mid-September, after which the second schedule will commence in Chennai. After shooting continuously for 30 days, the team will then head towards filming the final portions after October.
Meanwhile, the makers are yet to finalise the actors to play the second female lead and the villain of the film. They are said to have approached many big names, but have not zeroed in on the actors for the key roles yet.
Kajal Aggarwal is said to be playing Ajith's love interest in the film. It was reported recently that Kamal Haasan's daughter Akshara has been signed up to play the second female lead but those reports have turned out to be just rumours. Also, Prasanna and Arvind Swamy were approached for the main villain's role. But apparently they too have not accepted the offer.
On the other hand, Anirudh Ravichander has started working on the music of the film, which features Vetri's cinematography and Anthony L Ruben's editing. He has completed one song for the forthcoming Tamil film. The movie has been reported to have six tracks.
Siruthai Siva is collaborating with Ajith for the third time, after "Veeram" and "Vedalam." Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the movie, which is expected to be released in April 2017.
