It seems like Siruthai Siva, who had expressed his wish to direct Ajith again, has some exciting plans. He is reportedly planning to cast Ajith and Sivakarthikeyan in the movie, which is at present being referred to as "Thala 57".
As per the reports, Siruthai Siva has plans to cast Ajith and Sivakarthikeyan in the film. There is not much information available about the development at this stage, but rumour has it that it might be a sibling sentiment movie again.
Siruthai Siva recently directed Ajith in "Vedalam", which also had sibling sentiment between Ajith and Lakshmi Menon. It was his second movie with Ajith after "Veeram". It is said that their third movie might take off early next year.
Ajith underwent multiple surgeries earlier this month. He has been advised at least nine weeks bed rest. Hence, he won't be starting his next film any time soon.
Siruthai Siva's first movie with Ajith "Veeram" was a hit. Their good working relationship paved way for their second film "Vedalam", which has turned out to be one of the biggest hits at the box office in 2015. So, the expectations are very high from their next project as well.
On the other end, Sivakarthikeyan is getting ready for his next release -- "Rajini Murugan" -- which will hit the screens on 4 December. If the project with Ajith happens, it might come as a big boost to his career.
"Vedalam" Continues to Pull Audience
"Vedalam", which was released on 10 November for Diwali festival, attracted good number of viewers even in its third weekend. The movie, which has Shruthi Haasan in the female lead role, has earned over Rs 110 crore worldwide.
