The makers of Ajith Kumar's next film have finally locked in a date for the commencement of the shoot. The first schedule of shooting of the forthcoming movie, which is presently referred to as "Thala 57," will start on July 15.
As per a report on IndiaGlitz, the opening schedule will start in London. The movie will be majorly shot in foreign locations and the makers are likely to open up on their plans soon.
The regular shooting was supposed to begin in June but the plans underwent changes for unknown reasons. Rumours are rife that Ajith had suggested some changes in the script, causing delay in the commencement of shooting.
The movie reportedly has Anushka Shetty in the female lead role. This is her second movie with Ajith after Gautham Menon-directorial "Yennai Arindhaal." There will be one more actress, who will be doing an important role in the film. The names of Kriti Sanon and Ritika Singh were doing rounds earlier for the character.
In the technical team, Anirudh Ravichander has been signed to compose music. He had earlier scored music for Siruthai Siva and Ajith's "Vedalam." Other cast and crew details are yet to be revealed.
"Thala 57" is written and directed by Siruthai Siva, who is teaming up with Ajith for the third time after "Veeram" and "Vedalam." Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the flick, which is expected to release in April 2017.
Ajith had undergone multiple surgeries towards the end of 2015. He was advised to take bed rest for a few of months. Meanwhile, the latest reports say that he has fully recovered and raring to start "Thala 57."
