The shooting of sibling sentiment scenes between Ajith Kumar and Lakshmi Menon has been completed. Around 30 percent shooting of the movie has been wrapped up, according to the producer.
AM Rathnam, the producer, revealed in an interview that nearly 30 percent of shooting has been completed. He has pointed out that the sibling sentiment sequences have been wrapped up. The actors were also part of a song.
It appears like Ajith and Lakshmi Menon's portions were shot in the opening schedule in Chennai. A few photos of the shooting were released. The filming took place mainly at a set erected at Binny Mills and at a college.
He has also claimed that the film unit is busy with an action sequence. It is being filmed in Chennai. On the other end, AM Rathnam, who was recently scouting locations for the film in Dubai, has revealed that the shooting plans have undergone a minor change.
As it is too hot in Dubai, they are thinking of other options to film the planned Dubai portions. If they cannot find any other place, they would film the portions at the end.
Dubai seems to be a favourite destination for producer AM Rathnam. It may be recalled that his earlier movie, "Arrambam", starring Ajith, Nayantara, Arya and Taapsee Pannu was also shot in the region.
Coming back to the film, it is currently being called by the name, "Thala 56". It is directed by Siruthai Siva, who has earlier worked with Ajith in "Veeram". Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the movie, while Soori, Kabir Singh and others are also part of the project.
The film has Antony L Ruben's editing, cinematography by Vetri and action choreography by 'Stunt' Silva.
