The forthcoming movie of Ajith has reached the final stages of filming. The film unit has now kick-started the shooting of climax portion in Chennai.
As per sources, the shooting of the film's climax began on Tuesday, 1 September at Binny Mills. It is likely to take a week for the completion.
The shooting of the film--presently called by name "Thala 56"-- is almost completed with the crew wrapping up about 80% of the production work. The "Thala 56" unit will wrap up the talkie portions and two songs in the coming days.
The movie was launched in April 2015, but regular shooting started only a month later. The "Thala 56" unit has completed the shooting in a rapid speed as the makers wanted to ensure a Diwali release.
The shooting has gone as per the plans and has not caused any delay. As a result, the movie is getting ready on time. The makers have now set their eyes on a big Diwali weekend release this November.
Meanwhile, the title announcement of the movie is likely in September. It is reported that along with the teaser the name of the flick will also be revealed on the midnight of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The audio of the movie will be released in October during the Navaratri festival, say reports. But it is not sure whether the trailer of the movie will be released along with the album or it will be out earlier.
"Thala 56" is written and directed by Siruthai Siva. AM Rathnam has bankrolled the movie, which has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role. Lakshmi Menon, Rahul Dev, Kabir Duhan Singh, Soori and others are in the cast.
