Ajith and Shruti Haasan have completed shooting in Chennai for their tentatively-titled Tamil movie "Thala 56" and are now in Italy to shoot some scenes there.
It was recently reported that producer AM Rathnam and few others were in Dubai to finalise locations to shoot songs and a few scenes. Now it appears the makers later changed their plan and decided to shoot at picturesque locations in the European country.
The film unit left for Italy a few days ago to shoot in fashion city Milan for about a week.
Ajith and Shruti Haasan are expected to return to Chennai on 15 July.
However, before leaving Chennai, it was said the actress was suffering from viral fever.
"She had a viral fever on the day she left to Italy. Being the thorough professional that she is, she opted not to cancel the trip at the last minute. She took off to Italy a couple of days ago, and we hear that she is fine now. Apparently Siva will be canning a duet song with Shruti and Ajith in the lush locales of Milan and they will be back on July 15," The Times of India quoted a source as saying.
The upcoming movie was kick-started on 9 April and regular shooting began in May. The first schedule was completed in Chennai and Kolkata.
The movie has Lakshmi Menon playing Ajith's sister. The movie, which will light the screens during Diwali, is said to be a brother-sister sentimental story. The movie is being directed by Siruthai Siva. Santhanam and Kabir Duhan Singh are also in the cast.
