After the sad news of "Tere Sheher Mein" lead actor Dhruv Bhandari's father and veteran actor Mohan Bhandari's demise last evening, here is another piece of heart-breaking news.
The buzz is that Dhruv, who plays the role of Mantu, has decided to quit Star Plus' popular show.
For quite some time now, "Tere Sheher Mein" fans have been anxiously waiting for Mantu and Amaya's (Hiba Nawab) reunion, but the makers have now decided to add more spice to the storyline by delaying it. Further, a major twist has been included in the plot wherein the male protagonist's character will have some shades of grey.
Apparently, the change in Mantu's character didn't go down well with the actor, who chose to walk out of the show instead of playing a negative role.
"Mantu, who is in love with Amaya (Hiba Nawab), in the coming days would have seen a shift in his personality. Yes, the otherwise sweet and gullible Mantu would have turned negative, much to Dhruv's chagrin. Though the twist would have added spice to the already succulent plot, Dhruv thought otherwise and chose to opt out instead of getting smeared with the grey shade," a source told Telly Chakkar.
Dhruv's sudden decision has left the makers with no option but to look out for a last minute replacement.
The popular actor reportedly took the decision to walk out the show much before his father's death.
