TV actor Kinshuk Mahajan has been roped in popular Star Plus' show "Tere Sheher Mein" as the new lead, replacing Dhruv Bhandari.
While it is not known if Kinshuk will be reprising Dhruv's character Mantu, according to a latest report, the actor will play the new guy in Amaya's (Hiba Nawab) life and will have some shades of grey. His entry is expected to add a love triangle among his character, Amaya and Rama (Rafi Malik).
"The actor has been finalised to play the lead. It would be an interesting avatar and will add a lot of drama to the tale," a source told Telly Chakkar.
Kinshuk is best known for his role in Star Plus' shows "Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai", "Chand Chupa Badal Mein" and Zee TV's show "Afsar Bitiya".
Recently, Dhruv's sudden exit from the show made a huge buzz among his fans. According to reports, Dhruv was unhappy with the changes made in the storyline.
For quite some time now, "Tere Sheher Mein" fans have been anxiously waiting for Mantu and Amaya's reunion, but the makers decided to add more spice to the storyline by delaying it. Further, a major twist has been included in the plot, wherein the male protagonist's character will have some shades of grey.
Apparently, the change in Mantu's character didn't go down well with the actor, who chose to walk out of the show instead of playing a negative role.
