Actor Mohan Babu's car met with an accident at Madhapur, Hyderabad, on Thursday. While the actor escaped unhurt, his car was damaged in the accident.
The incident took place when Mohan Babu was travelling from his office to his newly built home in Shamshabad, reported The Times of India. The driver of his Land Rover took a U-turn at a spot near VR Nagar in Madhapur. A rashly driven cab, which was following the land rover, rammed into its rear end, according to Deccan Chronicle.
Cops rushed to the spot, but no case was registered from either of the parties.
Following the incident, Mohan Babu's son Manchu Manoj and daughter Lakshmi Manchu took to twitter and confirmed that the veteran actor was doing fine.
"My Dad is doing Gr8 with all ur love and blessings :) it's just the car which got damaged... Thanks for ur love and concern," tweeted Manoj.
"Nana is absolutely fine by Gods grace. Some silly man drove really fast and rear end the car. Ur prayers keep him safe," Lakshmi posted.
The incident took place just a few weeks after actor Prakash Raj's car met with an accident at a traffic signal in Hyderabad. The actor had a narrow escape when an RTC bus rammed into the rear portion of his car at the signal near Hi-Tech City flyover.
Prakash was said to be travelling to his farmhouse in Shamshabad after completing his shooting for the upcoming historical film "Rudhramadevi" when the incident took place, reported The Hindu. Prakash Raj escaped unhurt, but a woman and six-year-old girl who were sitting in an autorickshaw were thrown out of the vehicle after the bus hit the three wheeler.
Later, the actor took to twitter and clarified on the incident. "Had a miraculous escape as a bus rammed into us from behind at a tragic signal. Cars jammed. Family thrown out of an auto," Prakash Raj had tweeted.
