The Game of Thrones gaming series is coming to PCs and consoles next month. The new title by Telltale Games, the developers of the award-winning The Walking Dead game series, is listed on the Steam product page along with the pricing and PC requirements.
Telltale released the first trailer of the Game of Thrones series last week, which confirmed several details about the upcoming game.
The Game Play
The first series of the Game of Thrones will consist of six episodes. The game-play will run from the end of season three of the HBO TV show to just before the beginning of season five. The game will resemble the TV show in several instances. It allows players to visit locations familiar to the fans such as King's Landing and The Wall. To add more spice to the game, Telltale said some new elements will be taken from the books that haven't appeared on the television series yet.
Players will select their characters and control five members of the House of Forrester in the story. Players will be tasked to try and save the House during the War of the Five Kings. The five Forresters featured are Tyrion Lannister performed by Peter Dinklage, Cersei Lannister performed by Lena Headey, Margaery Tyrell performed by Natalie Dormer, and Ramsay Snow performed by Iwan Rheon. Additional members will be added in later episodes, according to the publisher.

Note: the game series is not recommended for Intel integrated graphics on Windows machines and Intel integrated graphics or Mac Minis or early-generation MacBook.
Pricing and Availability
For a limited time, Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is available at 10 percent discount if pre-ordered through Steam. Once released, the adventure game series will be sold for $29.99 while currently it can be pre-purchased for $26.99 (£20.69). It will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac and iOS.
There is no release date for the game but it is listed for a December release. A company spokesperson confirmed to Polygon that the game's first premiere is set for early December.
