BJP MP G V L Narasimha Rao on Monday alleged that the ruling TRS, Congress and the TDP were corrupt and claimed that his party was the real alternative to people in the Telangana Assembly polls.
He also alleged that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the "grand alliance", comprising the Congress, Telugu Desam Party, CPI, and Telangana Jana Samiti, were engaged in a "friendly contest."
"The ruling party and the so-called grand alliance are actually in a friendly contest. So, people of Telangana, we appeal to them to see the real face of these parties," he told reporters here.
"Do not fall for their projection that they are fighting each other. On the contrary, they are helping each other and they are trying to dupe and deceive people of Telangana," he said.
The Bharatiya Janata Party was the only alternative in the election, he claimed. "The only party which has credibility and will never ally with any of these parties is the BJP," he said.
He attacked the TDP over the Enforcement Directorate summoning party MP YS Chowdary in connection with an alleged bank loan fraud case.
AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi should shun his "arrogance," Rao said.
Owaisi has said his party was supporting the TRS to ensure that it emerges as an alternative force to the Congress and BJP in the coming elections.
