The upcoming sequel of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (TMNT) titled "Half Shell" will be jam-packed with a lot of surprises for the viewers and one of them could be the introduction of alien villain General Krang.
General Krang is apparently one of the most powerful antagonists in "TMNT" series. He was a war criminal who was banished from earth with the help of a new technology called Dimension X. Later on, the alien teamed up with Shredder and Foot Clans to invade the planet and exchanged his intelligence with a human-shaped exo-suit.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell", which is currently in its post-production stage, will line-up a couple of fan favourites such as April O'Neil, Casey Jones, Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady. So movie goers can also expect to see the alien villain on big screens.
Since Michael Bay and crew revealed very few details about the movie and many of the character information are kept under wrap, no official details are available about Krang.
But sources close to the film have reportedly said that several extras were found at the shooting location gathering at a dimensional portal, probably trying to bring back the alien to Earth, according to Comic Book.
Meanwhile, speculations are ripe that General Krang may appear on big screen in a CGI form and the character might join with Bebop and Rocksteady to fight against the turtles.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell" is scheduled to hit big screens on 3 June, 2016 and the confirmed cast members include Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Brian Tee as The Shredder, Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, William Fichtner as Eric Sacks, Brittany Ishibashi as Karai, WWE wrestler Sheamus as Rocksteady and Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop.
