The upcoming season of MTV's "Teen Wolf" will see the gang dreading the thought of going their separate ways once they graduate. But forces outside the gang are already plotting to separate them, and the werewolf pack will have to face new enemies this coming season.
Executive producer Jeff Davis recently opened up to Hypable about season 5 and said that the mysterious doctors who will be complicating lives of the werewolves are called the Dread Doctors. However, it is not immediately known if these Dread Doctors come from a particular mythology.
The executive producer also revealed that the second episode of the season will be titled "Parasomnia," and will possibly revisit Stiles' condition from the third season where he dealt with sleep paralysis.
As for what else to expect from the season, E!Online's spoiler chat revealed that there will be an epic kiss and that a new werewolf will make his entry. "Expect to see a truly epic kiss, a familiar face to make a surprising return, a new werewolf, one of the series regulars in MAJOR peril, and sweet references to two former series regulars, one whose character is dead and one who's still alive, just not currently in Beacon Hills," the spoiler read.
The new werewolf in town will be "Pretty Little Liars" actor Cody Christian, who will enter the series as a lone wolf in search of a pack. Christian's character will be named Theo, and he will have to prove to the gang that he is worthy of their friendship and trust.
As for the familiar face who will be returning this season, speculations are rife that it could be Isaac, the character essayed by Daniel Sharman. At the end of season 3 he was seen leaving with Mr. Argent after Allison's death. Although Allison's father returned in the previous season, Isaac did not return.
Rumours of the actor's return to the werewolf drama gained momentum after his character was killed off in the CW's vampire drama "The Originals." However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
"Teen Wolf season 5 will premiere on 29 June and episode 2 will follow the next day, 30 June, at 9:00 p.m. ET on MTV.
