The filming for MTV's "Teen Mom 2" Season 7 is already underway, and reports suggest heartbreak will be the focus of the latest instalment. Cast members Leah Messer, Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans will each face personal tragedy.
Messer's much-publicised custody battle with Corey Simms will be depicted in the upcoming season of MTV's reality show. The TV personality's state of mind after she loses custody of her twins, Ali and Aleaah, 6, to ex-husband Corey Simms will be captured in painful detail.
It is still unclear if Messer's ex-boyfriend TR Dues will be part of Season 7. However, he might have a small role to play if the show captures Messer's weekends with her daughters at her house. After all, the twins reportedly had become close to Dues' sons.
A People Magazine article reported Evans would also be in a similar situation as Messer. The reality star will continue to fight her mother Barbara for custody of her son Jace. The article noted friction between the mother and daughter's new boyfriend, David Eason, will add to her legal troubles.
Eason has a violent criminal history. According to an In Touch Weekly report, he strangled his ex-girlfriend and was in prison on drug charges, larceny, and breaking and entering.
Fans of the show, however, are looking forward to witnessing Evans' chemistry with her new boyfriend, and the ensuing drama with her mother Barbara.
Season 7 of "Teen Mom 2" will also depict Lowry's depression after she suffered a miscarriage. In the trailer, she reveals her husband Javi Marroquin would be leaving after getting deployed.
"Teen Mom 2" Season 7 airs Monday, March 21, at 10 p.m. on MTV.
