Wardrobe malfunctions have become so common during award shows that it has begun to lose its shock value. But a dress mishap at the Teen Choice Awards is still considered scandalous, as the award show caters to a young audience. Sadly, a good number of celebrities have experienced at least a minor form of wardrobe malfunction at the TCAs.
For instance, last year Rita Ora hit the red carpet in a stunning and sexy red pantsuit that was appropriate for the event. But the plunging neckline exposed her gold pasties, ruining the total effect of the outfit. The same year, Britney Spears made sure that all eyes were on her when she turned up in a plunging silver Mikael D frock. Because of the deep neckline, it looked like she was close to a wardrobe malfunction.
This year, too, a number of celebrities opted for dresses with plunging necklines, and this included "Scream Queens" stars Lea Michele and Keke Palmer. Palmer was dressed in a silver striped jumpsuit and her breasts were spilling out of her dress. Michele opted for a two-piece black and white floral two-piece dress. "Orange is the New Black" star Laverne Cox was yet another celebrity who chose a black Michael Costello jumpsuit with a deep neckline.
Chloe Moretz attended the event and won "Choice Movie Actress: Comedy" in a pink and black maxi dress with a sexy V-neckline and an open back. She was accompanied by boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham. Another celebrity who looked stunning at the award show was Sarah Hyland. The 25-year-old was a vision in colour at the award show as she was dressed in a blue and red floral print dress, which again featured a deep neckline.
