The teaser of Suriya's '24' goes viral

The teaser of Suriya's "24" has got stupendous response from the netizens. As a result, the video has amassed huge hits on YouTube.

In less than 24 hours, the video has garnered close to 10 lakh hits. It has got amazing 53,000+ likes and 5000+ dislikes in such a short period. However, it could not surpass the teaser record of Vijay-starrer "Theri," which got above 20 lakh hits in 24 hours.

Suriya will be seen in multiple roles in the movie and the teaser gives glimpse to all the characters that he plays in the Tamil film. Of all the roles, it is his Athreya, which draws the attention of the viewers.

The teaser has eye-grabbing visuals, powerful one-liners and stunning background score by two-time Oscar Award winner AR Rahman. Prawin Pudi gets full marks for his brilliant editing of the teaser, which has managed to generate positive buzz around the flick.

Before the formal launch, the teaser was screened to selected-few critics and they had highly appreciated it, as a result the audience was waiting for its release eagerly. In the end, the video has met viewers' expectations.

Suriya's "24" is a science-fiction movie about time travel. The film has been simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu. Samantha and Nithya Menen have romanced the actor in the flick.

Now, the focus shifts towards the audio release of "24," which will happen sometime later this month. It is said that a grand function is being planned for the music launch in Hyderabad where both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the songs will be released.

Vikram Kumar directorial "24" is produced by Suriya himself under his home banner 2D Entertainment. The Tamil movie will hit screens in April.
