The much-awaited teaser of "Ivide", starring Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly and Bhavana, has been released. As expected, the teaser of the upcoming Shyamaprasad directorial will be a completely new visual experience for Malayalam audience.
"Ivide", which is touted as a crime thriller, is based on the serial killing of IT techies in major US cities. Prithviraj will play Varun Blake, a cop of Indian origin in Atlanta Police Department while Nivin Pauly will don the role of Krish Hebbar and Bhavana will be featured as Roshni Mathew.
The film has a majority of its cast from the US and features Shaun Xavier, Prakash Bare, Dhanish Karthik, Deepti Nai, Haridev, Sunil Veettil, Tim Naddy, Juan Alexander, Kirstein Gilber and Robin Cole in major roles.
Taking into consideration the US actors' inconvenience in dubbing, the film is shot in sync sound like Shyamaprasad's previous movies "Arike", "English" and "Artist".
The crime thriller is said to be one of the costliest Malayalam films in the recent times.
Nivin Pauly has earlier worked with Shyamaprasad for the 2013 film, "English: An Autumn in London". Meanwhile, Prithviraj had worked with the ace director for the highly noticed film, "Akale", in 2004. For actress Bhavana, the last release was "Angry Babies in Love" in 2014 and the new movie is expected to see a credible performance.
At the pre-production stages of "Ivide", it was announced that Fahadh Faasil and Nyla Usha would play the lead roles along with Prithviraj, but this was later cancelled.
The script is penned by Ajayan Venugopal while the cinematography of "Ivide" is handled by Eric Dickinson. The film is produced by Dr S Sajikumar under the banner of Dharmik Films.
