South Korean actress Park Si-eun, who is popularly known for her role as Lady Hae in the SBS historical drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, will be portraying the title role in upcoming Korean series Teacher Oh Soon Nam.
The daily drama will revolve around the life of a school teacher, who works at a private educational institute in her village. She faces several challenges as the daughter-in-law of eldest son in the family.
Although the female protagonist optimistically moves forward in life, she ends up losing everything, including her daughter. So, fulfilling her child's ambition becomes the primary agenda of her life and she works hard for it.

Other celebrities to portray lead roles in Teacher Oh Soon Nam are Dear You actor Goo Bon Seung, Moonlight Drawn By Clouds actress Han Soo Yun and My Son-In-Law's Woman star Jang Seung Jo.
The Korean series is written by Choi Yun-Kul and it is also known as Hoonjang Oh Soon Nam. The show, which has 120 episodes, will be telecast on MBC from Monday to Friday at 7.50 pm KST. It will premiere on April 24.
The television drama is directed by Choi Eun-Kyeong in association with Kim Yong-Min and will also feature Jang Kwang, Sung Byung Sook, Lee Chae Mi, Sul Jung Hwan, Lee Ro Woon, Geum Bo Ra, Seo Hye Jin, Kim Jin Geun, Kim Hye Sun and Kim Myung Soo in supporting roles.
The Teacher Oh Soon Nam cast list also includes Shin Yi as So Myung Ja, Sam Hammington as Cha Saem, Lee Jung Yong as Park Bi Seo, Kim Hyung Min as Ki Seung Jae, Im Ho as Jang Ji Ho and Yoon Bok In as Joo Kyung Hwa.
