American singer Taylor Swift is hit by reports that her relationship with British boyfriend Joe Alwyn is on the rocks. The couple's love life has allegedly strained after she signed on for a movie adaptation of the popular Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Cats.
According to a report in Radar Online, the Red hitmaker will have hectic time with the shoot. A source said: "Tom Hooper [the director] has been trying to collaborate with Taylor for years, and now he's finally bagged her as the star attraction."
"This project is going to be demanding and intense and Taylor will have to spend a lot of time throwing herself into the rehearsals and grueling filming schedule," the insider added.
"This is going to be unlike anything Joe's known. She won't have time for him like she has in the past," the source shared. "Joe is used to getting a lot of attention from Taylor, but they can't be joined at the hip anymore. Their relationship is about to change in a major way."
Swift and Alwyn have been romantically linked since May 2017. However, since the beginning of her new relationship, the Bad Blood singer hasn't seemed interested in sharing her new relationship with the world.
Prior to dating Alwyn, Swift was linked to Tom Hiddleston. The short-lived relationship came to light after the former couple was spotted kissing each other near Swift's home in Rhode Island. Before dating Hiddleston, Swift dated Calvin Harris for a year.
Selena Gomez's best friend also dated John Meyer from November 2009 to February 2010; Jake Gyllenhaal from October 2010 to January 2011; Connor Kennedy from July 2012 to September 2012; and Harry Styles from December 2012 to January 2013.
In December 2015, during an interview with NME magazine, Swift said she feels the world is too interested in her personal life. She told the publication: "I'm in the news every single day for multiple different reasons. And it can feel, at times, if you let your anxiety get the better of you, like everybody's waiting for you to really mess up – and then you'll be done."
"A lot of the time I need to call my mom and talk for a really long time, just to remind myself of all the things that are great and all the things that matter. If you do something that defines your character to be not what the public thought you were, that's the biggest risk," Swift added.
