Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris' relationship has been making headlines for the past couple of weeks. The Internet was flooded with reports of the singer and the DJ's wedding and the two wanting to have babies. While the buzz is that Cal is all set to pop the big question with a $1.4 million diamond ring before the end of October, it has now been revealed that Tay is not begging her DJ boyfriend to tie the knot right now.
According to the latest reports, the "Bad Blood" singer is in no hurry to make things official and she apparently doesn't want Calvin to think that she is desperate for the engagement ring. The 25-year-old singer is happy in her relationship, but is not ready to say "yes" or want that big rock on her finger just as yet, reported Hollywood Life.
"Things are still good but Taylor and Calvin are not going as fast as everyone thinks. Those wedding rumours freaked them both out. That is definitely not where they are at. It's a nice fantasy but the last thing Taylor wants is for Calvin to think she's desperate for him to put a ring on it. That's just awkward," a source said.
Recently, it was reported that Calvin was seen shopping at XIV Karats in Beverly Hills in September. He was apparently asking about the best cuts and eyed a ring that cost $1.4 million. And soon, the news went viral that Calvin is all set to pop the big question.
But, it looks like all these rumours have freaked out the couple and maybe that's the reason why Calvin and Taylor have not been spotted together recently. According to the latest reports, the rumours have affected the couple so much that they decided to avoid each other in public.
"The attention was getting to be too much for them. They want to take the pressure off and not have everyone's eyes on them," a source told.
And the "Wildest Dream" singer and "Lets Go" hitmaker will reportedly not flash PDA moments or share their relationship updates on social media anymore. "They're trying to be more private when they meet up. They realised it was a mistake to share so much on social media — they just want some privacy back," a source told.
Well, it looks like Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris fans will not get to hear the couple's love stories that often now.
