Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have a new problem to deal with. The couple, which has been in the news for happily celebrating their first anniversary, seems to have been caught up again in the storm of fresh break-up rumours. And if the latest reports are anything to go by, then it looks like DJ's ex-girlfriend Rita Ora could be the troublemaker in their relationship.
Recently, The Sun reported that "How Deep Is Your love" hitmaker has put his foot down about not collaborating with girlfriend Taylor Swift on making music. His team initially suggested the idea to the DJ, but apparently he is in talks with Beyonce instead.
"Calvin's next single is ready but the label is keen for him to get a big female US star to collaborate on it. They know he attracts amazing names because everyone wants to work with him," a source said.
"He has already worked with Rihanna, Kylie and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. They floated the idea of him working with Taylor but he politely declined it," the source added.
The report further pointed out that, the DJ is very serious about Swift and is worried that collaborating with her professionally will lead to the same misfortune that his relationship with Rita Ora faced.
"Calvin has seen how sour things can turn when working with someone he's dating. He is very serious about Taylor and doesn't want to rock the boat. He's smitten. Instead, he is in talks with Beyonce as he's always wanted the pair to work together," the source said.
Ora and Harris dated for almost a year before they broke up in June 2014. Back then, the DJ had stopped the singer from releasing the tracks that they had worked together on, except "I Will Never Let You Down," which she released just before their split.
And it's not just Harris, now, even Swift is worried about Ora haunting their relationship. After the "Body on Me" singer announced that her new album will feature songs about her relationship with Harris, the "Bad Blood" singer is worried that it will reveal many secrets from her boyfriend's past, which may create trouble in their relationship.
"Taylor is worried about Rita Ora's upcoming record, because there are a couple of tracks that paint Calvin in a bad light," a source told Hollywood Life.
The report also said that the "Wildest Dreams" singer doesn't want her name to be dragged in someone else's music, especially if it shows her man in bad light.
"She doesn't want any negative comments about her man affecting their relationship because of the public conception of how perfectly suited to each other they are, and how squeaky-clean he appears to be," the source shared.
It looks like, Swift and Harris have a new challenge, that has come in the form of Ora, to deal with.
