Dulquer Salmaan, Varun Tej, Rashmika Mandanna have raised voice against the piracy of Vijay Devarakonda's Taxiwaala, which was leaked online for free download months ahead of its release.
The unit of Taxiwaala wrapped its shooting back in December 2017 but is post-production works were delayed due to some reasons. When the team was about to start work, some miscreants allegedly released the full movie on the internet in August and it was offered for free download on the social media.
Taxiwaala is scheduled for its theatrical release on November 17 and the makers are worried that its pirated copy may take a toll on its collection at the box office. Hence, Vijay Devarakonda, producer SKN and other members of the team took to Twitter to request their fans to say no to piracy and watch the film in the cinema halls only.
In fact, cinematographer Sujith Sarang took to his Facebook page to show how much hard work he has put in Taxiwaala, despite falling ill during its shoot. After seeing all their efforts, many of their colleagues from the film industry came forward to their support and requested their fans to watch the film in theatres only. Here are some of their comments.
