Tata Motors has launched a new special edition of its compact sedan Zest to celebrate its second anniversary and sales of 50,000 units in India. Dubbed the Zest Sportz edition, it comes as a dealer level fitment.
The sedan remains unchanged in terms of style and design in the new edition and the Zest Sportz edition comes with body kit that includes red colour OVRM caps, alloy rims, rain visors and tri-colour graphics, reports Autosarena.
To celebrate Zest's sales in India, the company is also said to be offering special EMI scheme of Rs. 3,999 per month, free insurance of Rs. 33,000, an exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000 and other benefits of up to Rs. 68,000. There are no mechanical changes in the Zest Sportz.
Launched in August 2014, Tata Zest sedan is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options in the country. Under the hood, the petrol model of Zest packs turbocharged 1.2-litre Revotron engine, which is tuned to produce 88.73bhp of power and 140Nm of torque. The Zest diesel model comes with 1.3-litre multijet motor that is capable of churning out 88.8bhp of power and 200Nm torque.
Tata Zest comes with features like Harman sourced touchscreen infotainment system, driver and passenger airbags, climate control rear parking sensors, height adjustable driver's seat and rear defogger.
