Tata Motors launched the much-awaited Tiago hatchback in India Wednesday, April 6. The hatchback has been priced in the range of Rs. 3.2 lakh to Rs. 5.54 lakh. The Tiago is open for bookings with a down-payment of Rs. 10,000.

Tiago exterior
The new hatchback flaunts multifaceted Tata emblem and signature hexagon grille. The front is further accentuated by 3 dimensional headlamps with smoked lens and sporty black bezel.
Interiors
The cabin of the Tiago looks quite appealing with dual tone interior and features height adjustable headrest, chrome handles, ConnectNext Infotainment system by Harman and sporty instrument cluster pods. The Tiago also offers multiple storage space.

The decks have been cleared for the arrival of Tata Motors' highly anticipated Tiago hatchback. Tata will launch the new Tiago in India Wednesday, April 6.
A lot has been written about Tata's new Tiago. The hatchback, which has been keeping auto lovers on tenterhooks since it unveiling back in December, is finally set to mark its entry into the market. Tata's new offering is expected to be priced at around Rs. 3.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The hatchback will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Hyundai Grandi10 and others in its segment.
Tata Tiago, an all new offering of the company, is the first product of Tata's Impact design language and will be offered in both petrol and diesel engines. While the 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol mill will churn out 83.8bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 114Nm of torque at 3,500rpm, the 1.0-litre three-cylinder Revotorq diesel engine will produce 69bhp of power 4,000rpm and 140Nm of torque at 1,800-3,000rpm. Both engines will come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
On the safety front, the Tiago will come with an ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution) and Corner Stability Control.
The Tiago comes with new front and rear styling and features Harman infotainment system with eight speakers, steering-mounted audio controls for telephony and a cooled glove box. The car, which was previously named Zica, is produced at Tata's Sanand facility in Gujarat and is a crucial launch for the company in 2016. Tata Tiago launch will be followed by the Kite 5 compact sedan, Hexa and Nexon in the sub-continent market.
