Tata's Safari Storme is about to receive a facelift in the country. The spy shots of the model in its undisguised form has been doing the rounds on the internet for some time now and adding to the long list of times it has made an appearance, here is another set of images revealing the interior of the vehicle.
Caught on camera by TeamBHP, the cabin of Safari Storme facelift seemed to have drawn some inspiration from Zest model. Just as the exterior, the interior of Safari Storme facelift gets minor changes like a new steering wheel and audio system with Bluetooth connectivity. The centre console gets silver inserts and the same goes for gear lever too.
From what we know so afar, under the hood, the facelifted avatar of Safari Storme is likely to pack 2.2-litre four-cylinder VariCOR diesel engine with improved output of 160PS and 400Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The current Safari Storme model has the capacity to produce 138bhp of power.
Previous spy shots have shown us the new Safari Storme with the same style and design of the existing model except for the honeycomb grille and minor tweaks in the front. Expected to be launched in April, Tata Safari Storme is likely to get a price tag in the range of ₹10-₹13 lakh.
