Tata Motors stepped into the burgeoning sub Rs 10 lakh compact SUV segment of India with the Nexon exactly a year back. The Nexon has become a runaway success and the company has now launched an anniversary limited edition model of the compact SUV dubbed as Nexon Kraz.
Tata Motors claims the neo-styling design treatment of the Nexon Kraz (pronounced as craze, /kreiz/), inspired from the active world of sports. The limited edition of the compact SUV is offered in two variants - Kraz and Kraz+ at a starting price of Rs 7.14 lakh for the petrol and Rs 8.07 lakh for the diesel version (ex-showroom).
Tata Motors claims the Nexon Kraz edition comes with 10 styling additions over the regular Nexon models. These include exclusive Tromso Black body with sonic-silver dual tone roof, Neo-green colour touches on the rearview mirror caps, front grille and wheel. The bright colour touch perfectly contrasts the black body colour of the SUV. The Krazz badging at the tailgate completes exterior additions in the limited edition model.
The interior has been spruced up with Neo-green seat stitch for the specially-patterned seats. Piano black dashboard gets Neo-green AC surrounds and Kraz badging at the centre. The door pads, console finisher and steering wheel also get Piano Black accents.
Additionally, the Nexon Kraz limited edition comes equipped with a four-speaker infotainment by Harman, Bluetooth and steering mounted controls, automatic climate controls with rear air vents, electrically adjustable and foldable mirrors, reverse parking sensors, a multi-utility glovebox and a central console for organised storage.
There are no changes expected in mechanics in the limited edition version of the Nexon. The compact SUV draws power from either a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated diesel mill.
"We want to celebrate the 1st anniversary of our brand Nexon with our customers and what better way than offering them a special striking version- the Nexon Kraz...We would like to thank all our customers for their trust in the brand and we will continue to bring exciting products in the market," said Mayank Pareek, President – PVBU, Tata Motors.
