Americans may get to drive the $3000 budget car Tata Nano, at a revised price by 2015, if all goes well with the plans laid out by the automotive giant, Tata Motors.

A fresh batch of images that has emerged online show us a fleet of Tata's new Nano Twist Active model at the company stockyard in Sanand, Gujarat, suggesting the imminent arrival of the model in the market.

Snapped by the folks at Rushlane, in the latest images, Nano Twist Active is seen completely undisguised, providing us a clean look at the model before its market debut. Judging from the images, it looks like the new Nano avatar is ready for shipment to the dealers of the company and the launch could happen as early as April.

Tata Nano Twist Active has been in the news since its first appearance at Delhi auto Expo 2014. Spied on number occasions, the new Nano model is expected to receive changes both inside and outside. From what we have seen so far, the exterior modifications are likely to be in the form of honeycomb grille, smoked headlamps and openabale boot. In addition to this, the Nano Twist Active is also likely to get new body paints. Inside the cabin, Nano Twist Active is speculated to get minor upgrades like 3-spoke steering wheel and new upholstery.

Talking of the engine line-up of the upcoming Nano, the car is expected to get new twin-cylinder petrol engine that can generate a 38 PS of power and 51 Nm peak torque.

The Nano Twist may also get an AMT variant called Nano Twist Active F-Tronic XTA AMT. This will get Magneti Marelli-sourced F-Tronic automated manual transmission and is expected to fall in the price range of ₹2.50 lakh to ₹2.65 lakh.

On the other hand, Tata Nano Twist Active is likely to carry a price tag of ₹2.38 to ₹2.45 lakh.
