The three-spoke steering wheel of Kite is similar to the one we have seen in Zest and there is also electric ORVM and gear lever. The AC vents of Kite seems to be taking a different shape, but the layout of power windows switches looks same as Bolt and Zest.

Tata kite, the possible replacement of the company's fleet car Indica will compete against the likes of Maruti Celerio and Hyundai Grand i10 in India when launched.

Under the hood, the new model of Tata is expected to pack company's new 1.05 litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel motor, which can churn out power of 64.1bhp and 14.27kgm of torque, and the all-new 1.2-litre petrol engine.

Transmission is likely to come from five speed manual gearboxes and an automated manual transmission (AMT) is also rumoured. Expected to get a price tag around ₹4 lakh, Tata Kite is likely to feature body-coloured rear-view mirrors and diamond-cut eight-wheel alloy wheels.
