The launch date of Tata's upcoming MPV the Hexa is yet to be revealed, but we have already seen the MPV in various stages through spy shots and leaked images. Now to add to the long list of spy shots, a fresh batch of images of the Hexa has hit the web. This time the MPV was caught on camera during a photoshoot.
In the latest set of images shared by Team BHP, the Hexa is seen virtually in its undisguised form. The images which are believed to have been taken on Manali-Leh highway show blue-painted Hexa as well as Ivory colour model. Tata is expected to launch the Hexa in early October.
The Hexa, which is also known as Aria-facelift made its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016. It embodies Tata's new Impact design philosophy and is expected to feature wrap-around LED tail lamps, door claddings, dual-coloured wheel arches, integrated spoiler and roof rails. On the safety front, the Hexa, the copiously tweaked Aria is expected to pack six airbags, and anti-lock brake system (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD). Other features expected include dual hexagonal-patterned front grille with chrome accents on the front and smoked projector headlamps, fog lamps and daytime running lamps.
Under the skin of the Hexa is expected to be a 2.2-litre engine that is tuned to generate 154bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,700 to 2,700rpm. This engine will come coupled to either a six-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission. Rumours are also rife that there will be a lower-displacement engine too in the offer. However nothing has been confirmed yet.
The Hexa will rival Toyota Innova Crysta and Renault Lodgy in India and is expected to be priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh.
