Tata's Hexa MPV is inching closer to its launch in the country. Ahead of its official entry into the market, comes yet another set of spy shots of the Hexa, showing the front, rear and side profiles of the model.
Caught on camera by Overdrive, the latest spy shots of the Hexa show the MPV without a full camouflage. Though it is not completely uncovered, the images give a pretty good idea of the overall body proportion of the model. Tata is expected to launch the Hexa during the festive season this year in India.
The Hexa, the facelifted avatar of the Aria, was showcased at the Auto Expo 2016. The model has already made numerous appearances on the web through spy shots in its completely revealed and camouflaged form.
Embodying Tata's new Impact design philosophy, the Hexa measures 4,764mm in length, 1,895mm in width and 1,780mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,850mm. The Hexa will rival Toyota Innova Crysta and Renault Lodgy in India and is expected to be priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh.
Powering the Hexa will be a 2.2-litre four-cylinder VARICOR diesel engine, which is tuned to generate 154bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,700 to 2,700rpm. The engine comes mated to either a 6-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission.
