Tata's upcoming crossover Hexa has been filmed while undergoing its test performances in India ahead of its possible debut at Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida in the first week of February.
Though in the latest video, uploaded by MotorOctane, the prototype's heavy camouflage does not give away any key details of the model Hexa, auto-lovers in the country by now have a fairly good idea of what to expect from Tata's next offering.
Tata has been testing the facelifted avatar of Aria for quite some time now, and the model was caught on camera countless times. Tata Hexa, which will rival Toyota Innova and Renault Lodgy in India, is expected to pack a 2.2-litre four-cylinder VARICOR diesel engine. Re-tuned to pump out 154bhp of power and 400Nm of torque, the engine will come paired either with six-speed automatic or manual transmission.
In terms of dimensions, the Hexa crossover measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm width and 1,780 mm height with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Other features of Tata Hexa include wider air dam, ORVM integrated with turn mirrors and LED tail lamps, body cladding and skid plates.
As for features, expect Tata Hexa to house leather seats, LED illumination, mood lighting and six airbags, including side and curtain. Previous spy shots of the interior of the Hexa has shown a cabin similar to its Aria sibling, but with updated features and systems.
