Tata Motors seems to have started dispatch of soon-to-be-launched Hexa to its dealerships across the country. A fresh batch of images of Hexa has started making the rounds on internet adding to the long list of spy shots of the MPV.
Tata Hexa is expected to be launched in India in November and the preparations for its grand arrival are well underway. If Hexa's off-road capabilities made headlines last week, here is a fresh batch of images of the upcoming MPV, which seems to have been taken at a dealership.
The images come from folks at CarAndBike. Though the images have nothing new to tell us, the sighting of the model at many dealerships indicate the imminent arrival of the model.
Tata had revealed the specifications of Hexa when it was showcased at Auto Expo 2016 in February. From what we have known so far, Hexa will come powered with a 2.2-litre engine tuned to generate 154bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,700 to 2,700rpm. The transmission in Hexa will be taken care of by either a six-speed manual or six-speed gearbox.
Expected to be priced in the range of Rs 12.5 lakh to Rs 17 lakh, Hexa will offer four driving modes — Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road. As for features, Hexa is expected to house a five-inch touchscreen that comes paired to a JBL's 10-speaker audio system, dual-tone dashboard and LED illumination.
In terms of dimension, Hexa measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width and 1,780 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. In India, the upcoming MPV will enter into the territory of Toyota Innova Crysta, Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner.
