With only a few weeks to go before the expected debut of Tata Motors' new crossover, the facelifited avatar of Aria in India, home-grown auto maker Tata is busy putting its upcoming offering through final testing in the country.
A new prototype of Tata Hexa has been snapped once again while undergoing its usual test rounds in the country, this time looks to be in its production guise. Thanks to the Indian Autos Blog reader Gautam who spotted the Aria facelift in Pune.
Despite the camouflage, we already know that the facelifted avatar of the company's Aria, measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm width and 1,780 mm height with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Expected to be launched in India at the upcoming Auto Expo 2016, which is scheduled to take place in February, Tata Hexa will rival Toyota Innova and the Renault Lodgy.
As for styling, Hexa is expected include wider air dam, ORVM integrated with turn mirrors and LED tail lamps, body cladding and skid plates. Inside the cabin, the new crossover from Tata is expected to get leather seats, LED illumination and 6 airbags, including side and curtain.
Regarding the under the hood treatment, Tata Hexa MPv is expected to pack 2.2 litre four-cylinder VARICOR diesel engine, which is re-tuned to generate 154bhp of power and 400Nm of torque either with 6-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual transmission.
