Tata Hexa crossover, the facelifted avatar of Aria, seems to be getting ready to make its India debut at Auto Expo 2016, which is scheduled to kickstart in February 2016.
Hexa, the crossover that was first premiered at the Geneva Motor show earlier this year has been going through rigorous testing regime in the country for quite some time now. The latest is that Tata is likely to bring its Hexa to India during Auto Expo 2016.
Tata Hexa, the facelifted avatar of the company's Aria, measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm width and 1,780 mm height with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Under the hood, the MPV is expected to pack 2.2 litre four-cylinder VARICOR diesel engine, which is retuned to generate 154bhp of power and 400Nm of torque either with 6-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual transmission.
As far as the interior of Hexa is concerned, the new crossover from Tata is expected to get leather seats, LED illumination and 6 airbags, including side and curtain. Other features expected include wider air dam, ORVM integrated with turn mirrors and LED tail lamps, body cladding and skid plates.
When launched in India, Tata Hexa will rival Toyota Innova and the Renault Lodgy.
