The trailer of Aanand L Rai's "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" starring Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan is finally out.
The film is a sequel to 2011 hit film "Tanu Weds Manu" with the same star cast. In the sequel, Kangana will be seen in a double role as Tanuja "Tanu" Trivedi and Kusum "Datto" Sangwan.
The video starts from where the prequel ended. Tanu (Kangana) returns from London with her husband Manoj Sharma (Madhavan). However, their relationship has turned bitter over the years.
But, things worsen when Manoj finds love outside his marriage in Kusum (Kangana). The sequel also has Jimmy Shergill and Deepak Dobriyal reprising their roles in the 2011 film.
Although, the plot looks simple, the trailer has raised the expectations of viewers with Kangana's mind-blowing performance.
The National Award-winning actress has nailed it with her flawless and rustic Haryanvi accent and will undoubtedly make viewers jaw-drop.
Going by the two-and-a-half-minute video, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" looks promising and is bound to make viewers jaw-drop with Kangana's performance.
Produced by Eros International & Colour Yellow Productions, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" will now release on 22 May instead of 29 May.
"While it was decided that 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' would release on May 29, the schedule was completed earlier than planned. The makers are happy with the way the film has shaped up and believe that it is ready for audiences to enjoy," a source told IANS.
