"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" is all set to be one of the biggest movies of 2015 and the domestic figures are now eyeing the ₹100 crore mark.
"Tanu Weds Manu Returns", which had a massive opening in Indian and overseas box offices, has already raked in ₹47.05 crore at the Indian box office.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie is a blockbuster hit and the film's collection on Monday is higher than its opening day. The Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan starrer collected ₹8.90 crore on its fourth day in India.
This, according to Adarsh, is a rare feat at the box office as Bollywood movies usually fail to carry its weekend-like collections on the following Monday. But, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" has now changed the trend as the film continues to have good theatre occupancy on weekdays as well.
#TanuWedsManuReturns is on a RECORD-SMASHING spree. Fri 8.85 cr, Sat 13.20 cr, Sun 16.10 cr, Mon 8.90 cr. Total: ₹ 47.05 cr. India biz.

The success of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" has set a trend not only in terms of box office numbers but the movie also proved that a good script can bring audience to theatres. With no big names attached to it, the latest Anand L Rai movie is an eye opener for Bollywood.
Overtaking almost all big films of the year, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" has convinced the industry that a tight script, impressive performances and good directorial skills is all that is required to win the hearts of the audience.
Meanwhile, industry traders are now keeping their fingers crossed to see whether the Kangana -Madhavan starrer will enter the ₹100 crore club in India before its second week.
Unlike most Hindi films that crash/dip on Mon, #TanuWedsManuReturns continues its winning streak on weekdays. Mon biz was rock-solid. WOW!
