After beating Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express" box office collection record, Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan starrer "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" has added another feather to its cap.
The worldwide gross box office collection of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" has crossed ₹200 crore mark, making it the first Bollywood film of 2015 to achieve that status.
There were films this year that earned a decent amount at the box office, but none had managed to take their gross income to more than ₹200 crore until now.
With "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", Kangana and Madhavan have entered the prestigious ₹200 crore mark.
The gross domestic box office collection of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" after two weeks stands at approximately ₹162 crore, while the overseas total is more than ₹40 crore, which takes its gross income to over ₹202 crore, according to Koimoi.com.
"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" has earned more than ₹15 crore from just North America market (US-Canada box office), ₹4 crore from the UK region, ₹10 crore from UAE-GCC, ₹2.08 crore from Australia, ₹2.51 crore from Pakistan and more than ₹1 crore from rest of the world, according to Bollywood Hungama.
