"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" is still continuing strong at the box office on its third Monday. As per reports, the film has made a huge profit and the trade analysts now predict that it will close its life-time collection at the domestic box office only after grossing over ₹200 crore.
Entertainment website Koimoi reported that the film has made a total of ₹2.04 crore at the domestic box office on its third Monday and the total collection now stands at ₹131.05 crore.
The report also suggest that the film, which is made with a budget of ₹32 crore, has therefore made 310% profit.
"The film's total income now stands at ₹131.05 crores nett at the Box Office. Made on a stringent budget of 30-32 crores range, the film has made a profit of ₹99.05 croresnett, which is mind blowing. 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' has a return on investment of 310%," reported Koimoi.
Meanwhile, the makers of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" are celebrating the success of the film on 9 June evening. The complete cast and crew of the film as well as other Bollywood celebs are expected to be part of it.
Directed by Anand L Rai, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" was noted for the performance of actors including Kangana Ranaut, R Madhavan, Jimmy Shergill, Deepak Dobriyal, Eijaz Khan and Swara Bhaskar. The movie is produced by Kishore Lulla and Anand L Rai under the banner of Colour Yellow Pictures.
"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" has already become the highest grossing Bollywood movie of 2015 in India and has beaten films such as "Baby" and "Gabbar is Back".
