"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" is now the biggest Bollywood grosser of 2015. Despite a few releases last week, the film is continuing strong at theatres across the country.
This has also reflected very well in the weekday collection in its second week. According to industry analyst Taran Adarsh, films that run well in the second week are really strong. Those involved in the business are expecting the film to reach ₹125 crore mark this week.
The box-office collection of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" in the second week is as follows:
- Friday: ₹6.65 crore
- Saturday: ₹9.40 crore
- Sunday: ₹12.25 crore
- Monday: ₹5.15 crore
- Tuesday: ₹4.65 crore.

Meanwhile, the worldwide collection of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" till Monday is recorded at ₹165 crore, making it the highest grossing film of the year.
Though the film has turned profitable to everyone involved with it, many are now waiting to see how it is going to perform in the coming weekends with the release of "Dil Dhadakne Do".
Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the upcoming film has already garnered great response from its special screening and is touted as a complete entertainment package. Moreover, the film has some big names including Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Rahul Bose, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah attached to it.
