Malayalam film "Tamaar Padaar" will release on 3 October. It was earlier reported that the film will hit screens on 2 October, but actor Prithviraj who plays the lead in the film confirmed the release date as 3 October through his Facebook page.
"Tamaar Padaar" is written and directed by Dileesh Nair. He had earlier written scripts for Aashiq Abu's films like "Salt N Pepper", "Da Thadiya" and "Idukki Gold".
"Tamaar Padaar" also has Baburaj, Chemban Vinod, Srinda Ashab, Maniyanpilla Raju and Vijay Babu in pivotal roles and the film is touted as a satirical comedy.
Prithviraj dons the role of a police officer once again with the character name Pauran and has been heard using Trivandrum slang. In his last release "Sapthamashree Thaskaraha", the actor was heard using Thrissur slangs and played the role of a thief. Pauran is all set to find a notorious escapee Sukumara Kurup.
Baburaj plays the character of Jumper Thampi who is a part of street circus. He owns the circus company Kanakam Royal Circus named after his wife Kanakam. Chemban Vinod, who is known as Cross Belt Mani, also have an important role in the film. He is also a street performer and specialises in breaking tube lights on the chest.
When Jumper Thampi and Cross Belt Mani meet, they understand the scope of performing together and become partners. Their life gets mixed up with the entry of Assistant Commissioner of Police.
The lead actress of the film is Srinda Ashab who plays Valsamma, a bold and smart woman. The teaser of the film has given an impression that her role in this film will be one of her best after the portrayal of Susheela in the film "1983". For Srinda, 3 October in more special as her other film "Homely Meals" will also hit theatres on the same day.
Vijay Babu will play a socially committed person and Prithviraj's father in the film. He wants his son to become a police officer so that he serves his society and be just.
"Tamaar Padaar" also has Shammi Thilkan and Maniyan Pilla Raju in pivotal roles. The film is produced by M Renjith under the banner of Rajaputhra Visual Media
