Actress Konkona Sen Sharma has made her comeback to films with an intense role in the film "Talvar" based on the infamous Aarushi Talwar murder case.
On Saturday, the film's trailer was released. The film is about the unsolved mystery of the teenage girl's murder.
Irrfan Khan plays the role of an investigating officer, while Neeraj Kabi and Konkona portray the roles of Aarushi's parents. The trailer starts with the victim's parents observing the last rites of their daughter and then follows the lengthy police investigation.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar and written by Vishal Bharadwaj, "Talvar" also stars Tabu in a special appearance. The film is slated to hit theatres on 2 October.
Irrfan released the trailer with a caption, "Jis din Samay ne Ankhein kholin... Insaaf Insaaf Insaaf .....hoga !!!"
