Meghna Gulzar's "Talvar" is set to hit screens on 2 October and here are a few reasons why it could be the murder mystery film of the year.
Controversial story line
Based on Noida's Aarushi Talwar and Hemraj Banjade murder case (2008) in which the former's parents were convicted, the film sure promises an engaging narrative with oodles of scope for drama and some thrill.
Interesting cast
Irrfan Khan is on top of his game, and for someone like him to be on board a project like this means a lot. Konkona Sen Sharma is another talented artist who brings credibility to the characters she plays onscreen. Neeraj Kabi is another bright star who has films like "Detectiv Byomkesh Bakshi" and "Ship of Theseus", among others to his credit.

Meghna's direction, Vishal's screenplay – this is all dreams are made of. The kind of films these two have done only goes to say how awesome "Talvar" is, with them joining hands.
