Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Friday tweeted a prayer dedicating it to the PM.
The tweet read: "Modiji a prayer for you: 'Asatoma Sadgamaya Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya Mrityorma Amritam gamaya Om shanti shanti shanti."
The tweet from Gandhi came a day after Modi claimed that the BJP had to make more sacrifices after the Indian Independence than the Congress may have made during the British Raj.
Gandhi also added an English translation of the Sanskrit prayer with another tweet saying: "Lead me from ignorance to truth - from darkness to light - from death to immortality. Let there be peace for all living creatures."

While addressing party leaders during the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the BJP's new office on the Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi, on Thursday, Modi had said: "The BJP will perhaps be the first party in India that has, ever since its inception, been swimming against the current. No other party has made as much sacrifice as the BJP post-Independence."
We have faced storms of protests at every step... Even the Congress may not have faced so much difficulty during British rule as our party workers had to face since 1950 till date."
